An excellent overview of the antiquities market and how museums, particularly the Getty in LA were complicit in the looting of sites. The writing is excellent and this reads like a soap opera. I do wish Felch had gone deeper into why it is so important for these artworks, which are also major pieces of evidence regarding history, to be properly excavated.
