This book is most interesting when discussing individual cases, but seems to fall apart and become rambling and even slightly patronizing when the author begins discussing psychiatry in general. I enjoyed it, for the most part, and I can definitely believe that the author has the best interests of children at heart, but it just gets a little preachy, particularly towards the end.
