I was not very interested in Fray the slayer, nor am I a big fan of Karl Moline's drawings, mostly because I confused Dark Willow for Dawn for the entire comic! Like, the script does not name them or have characters refer to them but it is supposed to be suspenseful and like a punch-line when someone is revealed out of the shadows, but it works only if you recognize the character. I kept thinking it was Dawn because Fray's twin brother, Harth, asks why "Dawn" must kill her sister (keyword: sister : as in actual sister Dawn or adopted sister Willow?) And then the drawings of Buffy and Fray's sister look alike too. That's my only ~feeling~ about this fourth volume—the art—probably cos I got used to Georges Jeanty's more "accurate"/"realistic" depictions. Moline's work feels more "sharp"/"pointy line-y."
