I read this book because I wanted to see if I like E.M. Forster's style or not, as I was undecided after reading A room With a View.

I enjoyed this book and found this commentary on the struggle between the British and the Indian culture both enlightening and heartbreatking.

Just like the two flames that met in the Marabar Caves, when they met both flames expired. These two cultures could not understand each other and that is truly saddening.

I enjoyed this book and added many new quotes to my literary quote book.

This book isn't a fast read, but is definitely educating.
