Loved this book - looking into getting the sequel about the advanced SEAL training now! This was a great book for anyone interested in what it takes to become elite -- and I don't just mean at being a SEAL or a member of the military. These guys go througha a lot, physically and mentally, and it's amazing to see how the few that succeed manage to get through and what happens to the rest. It's written by a retired SEAL who went through training decades earlier, and he compares and contrasts modern training to his experiences. It goes into GREAT detail about what happens each week of the 25 weeks of the initial BUD/S training and the 2 week Indoc leading up as well. Interesting read from a very inside perspective!
