What an uplifting and inspiring novel! I finished it in less than a week (given my current schedule, that speaks volumes about how good it was). It was a page turner, with the end of each chapter compelling me to read just one more before going to sleep, then another, and another.

Brendon is a gifted writer. I found myself literally transported with his vivid descriptions, almost as if I were taking the journey with the main character. It was rewarding to see how many of the lessons I've already "learned" (but it offered great reminders about those lessons) and how many opportunities there still are for improvement. It definitely had me consider some things from a new perspective, which is always good.

Brendon is a remarkable young man. He is an inspiration for anyone who wants to overcome life's challenges and be the best they can be.
