I am loving this book! Emma's "tough girl" with the heart of gold and soul of a warrior queen personae is captivating. Jason is the perfect compliment to her; sensitive, strong, sexy and unabashedly adoring her in spite of the "complicated circumstance they find themselves facing. The prose is lyrical and meets my need to have a visual "film" playing on my reader's "mind screen". I am now at the "I don't want this to end too quickly" and, "I am pro'lly going to read late into the wee morning hours" phase. Can't wait to read on! (Just finished the WalMart entrance to hell chapter.)This could be a movie....edgy, indie type...

Debra Anastasia Kate! What a gorgeous review. How did I get so fortunate to have you read? I'm very lucky. I want to print this out and put it next to my computer. I hope the ending gave you satisfaction! ~Debra

Kate I must say that for those of us attracted to the "bad boy" with not only a troubled past, but intelligence, wit, power and smoldering (grin!)sensuality, and yes, even a conscience and compassion, Jack is by far the best combination yet! Darling Jason with all his attributes and sweet nature doesn't stand a chance! I loved the peek into the celestial "scene" devoid of the current media's self righteous piety! I was enticed and challenged to contemplate and rethink the relationships between several shades of Darkness and Light as you enticed me along the path of this sweetly unfolding and clever Fable! Of course, I was left peering up into the clouds and fanning myself ineffectually by the end and now I am awaiting the sequel! Emma is by far the best heroine (warrior angel)to come along and Jack the only "bad boy" worthy of her! Huzzah!
