I have become a bit fascinated by the Amish lately. This is my first fiction book about the "Plain People". It was a nice read - not the best book I've ever read, but a good story without the worry of language and sex scene surprises that I don't appreciate in what I read. This book is the first of a trilogy and I wanted to run out and buy the sequel as soon as I finished tonight. I refrained, but am sure keeping my eyes open for more of these books by Beverly Lewis as well as some other authors who write about the Amish.
