October "Toby" Daye is half-human, half-fae-the only changeling who's earned knighthood. But when someone begins targeting her nearest and dearest, it becomes clear that Toby is being set up to take the fall for everything that's happening.

One of the best books of this series, and quite possibly one of the top UF reads for the year. Just like the previous books, this one is a non-stop action ride, following the fae changeling & knight, Toby Daye. And while every one of the books in this series have been well written, this one kept me planted on the edge of my seat & surprised me with its many plot developments. Never a dull moment; and if you think you know how this will end, think again. An up all night read, that I look forward to continuing in the fall.

I encourage anyone who hasn't checked out this or McGuire's other series, Newsflesh, to do so. Her books are very well crafted, written, and surprisingly fresh for the well covered & played-out UF genre.
