One word for this novel:

here it comes...

Yes. That one word pretty much encompasses the entire novel. Other words come to mind like consuming; velvety; dark; engrossing; addictive; beautiful; compelling... Do I need to go on? Ok, then.

So I had the book sitting on my desk for about a week before I gave it a side-long mmm-I-might-read-you glace. What a mistake! I should have read this sooner! And you should, too.

I won't go much into the plot (partly becasue its still swirling around in my brain and partly for who ever reads this... I won't ruin it for you), but the concept of an Alice-esque adventure with ghosts, magic and the ilk was very enthralling.

Just read it. You won't regret it. :)
