really liked it

Tony Hawks made a drunk bet that he could travel - hitchhike to be more precise - around Ireland in/for a month. And that's what he then went on to do. He took a flight to Ireland, bought a fridge, and set himself on the road...
The book is funny, and I recognize many of the locations in Ireland (after having lived there for 6 years). Even my favorite spot Cape Clear is featured, as Hawks hitchhiked there, stayed in a B&B and then continued (the hostel owner in Cape Clear says that a few years after there was an Australian fellow who was doing the same with a big stuffed animal, i.e. hitchhiking around Ireland with it. A new trend I guess...). And one of the guys I worked with in Cork saw this Fridge Man, as Hawks became also known as, when he was doing the pub tour in Cork.
Lots of interesting places and characters, and he had the correct attitude for the travel to be fun in Ireland...
