Revolutionary Road is a story placed in the 1950s about the young suburban married couple, April and Frank Wheeler. The story centers around their marriage and their struggles with feeling empty and trapped in the mediocrity of, for April, being a housewife, and for Frank, of being stuck in his average office job. The characters struggle with feeling passion but simultaneously feeling the need to conform socially. A good classic read.
