Not being a comic book, pardon graphic novel, person I thought I would give this a shot as an article I was reading listed the ten must-read graphic novels. I found this to be engaging and a fun hour or so escape from my tredging through the Che Guevara biography (only 250 pages to go). Looking into the question of what the world would be like with no men is interesting and something I haven't come across in picture-free reading, so that part is definitely intriguing. I think I will pick up the next books in the series for this as the story is interesting and the look of the work is appealing.

Shane Right on. Being a comic book graphic novel fan I read most stories that are centered around a philosophy rather than super heroes. I enjoy post-apocalyptic stories and thought this was one of the most original. I've nearly finished the series and recommend it though at times it repeats theme. The art is consistently well drawn and the state of the world seems accurate at least with the continuation of violence and ignorance after such a cataclysmic event.
