This is a biography of Jeannette Walls' grandmother, Lilly. Born in 1901 she grew up in mud huts and breaking horses at an extremely early age. Her adventures include making moonshine, playing poker, teaching and becoming a bush pilot. Lilly witnessed an amazing amount of history and at the same time made some of her own.
