I think that the book's topic (immigration) is fascinating and deserving of our attention. There were parts that I thought were very well done, and other parts that I felt were disjointed and uninteresting. The book also lacked an objective perspective. Overall, though, it was clear that she did a lot of research and was passionate about her topic.
