I read this while stuck in bed with a head cold. It certainly worked for that purpose - I didn't have to concentrate too hard and the chapters were short. The writing is simple but very uneven - the point of view jumps around. Once I decided to read it like a folk tale, it went a whole lot smoother.

Jayme This book makes me think of the annoying lady at Chapters who wouldn't leave me alone. She asked me what books I liked, and I told her a few of the books I'd just read, which obviously weren't her cup of tea, so she just listed off all her favourite terrible books. This was on the list, so was the series about knitting was 10 minutes I'll never get back. Not that I'm dissing you choice. ;)

Cindy Oh god, I've met people like that before. Um, knitting detectives?!?

A friend gave me this book, so it worked out okay.
