I love Mary Roach and all the subjects she covers. If I'd had more motivation in my life, I might have ended up a science writer like her.

This book is filled with fascinating, bizarre, and wonderful insight into a highly technical and classified project: getting people off the Earth, hopefully in preparation for Mars colonization.

Roach is easy to read and makes me laugh. I love the feeling she provides that I'm right there with her when she interviews people or sees things for the first time. She includes details that really bring the scene to life.

I don't know what she's working on next, I'm definitely going to read it.

Brian Laura, I vote that you still go ahead and become a science writer. Do it!

Aw, thanks, Brian! Wish I knew where to start, though. :)

PS. I really like your profile pic. Goofy dog faces are the best.

I wish i knew where to start too. I have no idea how she gets access to the people and conferences she goes to.
