I loved the first 1/3 of the book, then it started to drag and seemed like "filler" words. The first part is about the authors experience as a female sheep herder and was very interesting. The description of the NE corner of Wyoming is magnificent. I've been there and it is beautful wild country. I love the town of Lovell, and have been to the Medicine Wheel which was an awesome experience. From hot desert straight up the mountain to snow! Incredible experience. I'd certainly recommend the first 1/3 of the book, plus I did read the last chapter to see how it all ended since I knew the players by then.
