OK, technically this volume also has Fantastic Four Annual #1, but since I also have Ultimate Annuals #1 too, I'll just save that for later.

That means, of course that this review only applies to N-Zone and the two-parter reinvention of the Mad Thinker.

That's enough though. The battle with Nihil (the Ultimate Annihilus) was that the Fantastic Four and their abilities could no longer be a secret. It makes sense that they would be (almost) seamlessly incorporated into the Ultimates during the battle with Gah Lak Tus, but I get ahead of myself.

I think most of the 'points' for this volume though go for the twisted reimagining of the Mad Thinker, a, in my mind, minor and slightly goofy classic villain. She is fucked up. Keep in mind, Tony Stark was able to get Obadiah Stane into the Baxter Building. And Rhona Burchill was too psychotic? Well, I believe it after reading her two issues.
