The book starts backwards, so you think: what the hack, now I already know how it ends. The book it’s spoiled. But you are very wrong. The story it’s told by Jhon and he take us trough his memoirs and how his life changed. He tells about his difficult relationship with his dad, his love life and about the war.
The magic in this book is the development and the reasons that take Jhon to make the decisions that eventually take him to his destiny. In how you can spend your life without understand the people that you love the most and that we should take them as they are even with they little flaws that actually are not really flaws, it's just the way they are.
There is just one thing that I think, Jhon went to war, but he didn't describe anything that really happened there, not a battle, nothing. That was a downer.
I think that it's kind of a void in that part, but besides that, the book it's really wonderful.
