The Leopard

I could not put this book down. It kept me up late at night, and I found myself reaching for it in the mornings when I woke up. Given the length of this book (600+ pages), Nesbo masterfully builds suspense--I never became bored wondering what was going on, or what was going to happen next. I must confess, however, that I wish fictional serial killers were just a little less, well, gruesome. I think I'd find the book just as interesting if torture wasn't involved. Maybe I'm just old-fashioned in wishing for a good old gunshot or bludgeon to the head??
