I enjoyed it while I was reading it but it really lost steam towards the end. It conveyed lots of interesting ideas about the "new world" and I found the central conflict between the younger generation and the olds thought provoking, but a resolution was never really reached. Some of the future inventions were clever, and there was a wide range of characters that all meshed together, but I just felt like something was missing from the book. It was much better written than the similar Boomsday, but I didn't love it like I thought I would.
