In my opinion, any story that can make my heart literally ache is a good book. All throughout Oddily, I wanted to cry for the main character whose name is Oddily :) The only thing that bothered me about this book was how stiff the dialogue was. I understand that Maxim (being who, and what, he is) would speak in a way that makes him seem older than a teen. But Oddily speaks in the same manor, and given the life she has been dealt, I would think she would be a little less stiff. Other than that, I loved the book. I was a little bummed at how abrupt the ending was, but I'll get over that as soon as the second book, Maxim, is out.
