The title tale, the first in the collection, is so strong as a teaching story that I'm glad I picked this up, even though the rest of the stories and poems didn't measure up to the promise of the first.

Thank you for the honest review! I'm glad you enjoyed at least part of it, but much of it was indeed my earliest writings collected together. I hope you will take the time to read Eliza's Fancy, my newest and far more practiced story, up on Amazon and Smashwords!
