really liked it

This one slowly grew on me. Loved the questions of applied ethics that drove Isabel Dalhousie's actions, and I rather enjoyed the quiet sense of conversational pacing. My one quibble: When I started the book I took Isabel, the main character, to be possibly in her 60s. I was jarred out of the book when she was revealed to be in her late 40s. Her thought processes and the pace of her life did not feel to me to be those of a woman in her mid to late 40s ... but it will not stop me from reading the next in the series.
