Illuminating, I think. The parts that specifically related to the reptile/limbic/neocortical brains (which, really, was most of the book) and their interplay and effects on human psychology was interesting. The book makes some bold claim at a few junctions, which I'm mostly taking on faith (even though taking science on faith is, of course, generally speaking a bad idea), but as a whole it was very excellent content to chew on.
