Yes, I read yet another one. I really liked the premise behind this particular plot. In this fictional world, technology has advanced so much that everyone's gotten mega lazy. No one wants to live in the "real" world anymore. Instead, technology offers them the perfect fantasy experience, and they're all addicted to it. It's like the coolest video game that nobody wants to stop playing.

It's kind of a dystopia of sorts. You can tell it is the author's way of warning us about the addictions of technology in our own lives, and to not forget to really LIVE our own lives. I applaud that message, especially in juvenile fiction. It helped me re-examine my own dependency on screens, lol.
