I won this book from Marty himself from a contest here on Goodreads. Thank-you, Marty! :)

This was a pretty good book. At first I wasn’t sure how I would like it, but it didn’t take much reading to get into it. The sixth chapter(Pages 23-25) is when I really started to get into it.

There was quite a lot of unexpected twist and turns. It had me thinking of a few different possibilities. And then just when I thought the story line was going to be predictable, Beaudet, hit me with an even bigger surprise.

At 76 pages, it is a very small novel, which is why it is considered a novella. Not that I wouldn’t mind reading it if it were a longer book, but it was actually a nice change from the long books I have been reading. Being such a short book, it means Marty got right to the point, instead of going on and on.
