I read this to see if the AR UG rating meant it was inappropriate for my elementary school students, and found it really should be in middle school instead. So I'm going to send it up to the middle school, along with the rest of the series. I enjoyed it, but it was about a HS girl who travels to the past accidentally at a mansion that is being torn down. She falls in love with the boy who lives there but there are several sexual scenes that are too old for my kids.

Judy Desetti Tell me more about this one. How explicit is the sex? Just wondering.

Helen There is nothing explicit and it would be ok for your 7-8th graders, but there is a scene where a friend staying in the mansion puts his hands on the maid inappropriately and she has to fight him off, and it talks about him fathering children through his own maids and sending them off to orphanages, etc. It's not too bad, but the reviews all said above elementary level, so I didn't want to take a chance.
