This was a book I had to read for my senior capstone class. It is a collection of life lessons from Chris Gardner, most well known for his book "The Pursuit of Happyness" (which subsequently turned into a movie starring Will Smith). The book was definitely full of some good sound advice for achieving goals, and I respect the man for what he has come through and has been able to achieve. The only down-side for me was in the concluding chapters when Gardner started discussing spirituality.

Like many other Hollywood types, Gardner has laid aside his strict Biblical beliefs to embrace the validity of all religions. I understand the need to respect others' belief systems, but in order to make himself seem more likable, he goes beyond respecting, to embracing, and in effect, tells people, "whatever works for you is good." Anytime I see stars do that with their faith, it automatically makes me not like them!
