Captivating and intriguing.
Who'da thought the Reformation could be so riveting.
Written by Wu Ming, 4 (then 5) publicity-shy Italians, the book reads like a cohesive whole.
A very very long book, with very small font, it is as much an exploration into the Reformation and its major characters, as much an adventure story with blood and gore, sex and scantily clad women, friendship and loyalty, betrayal and loss.
don,t get me wrong... This book takes effort and commitment. There are times you will want to stop, and move on to something else, but the needing to know who the mysyterious Q did it for me. Maybe it'll do it for you too.
