The best part of this book is the twist and turns, a real roller coaster ride of suspense, surprising clues, and amazing revelations. Truly a fun book to read. I listened to this one and found the rendition excellent. It was read by two women and they both did excellent jobs with their respective parts. Again, the men are always a challenge to a female reader, but I could distinguish between the characters. My only complaint about the D.D. Warren series in general is that I don't find her a very likable character. We see a lot more tenderness from her in this book, as well as her regular asshole persona. It's a welcome edition.

The style of this book is similar to The Neighbor, my favorite in the series up until this point. This one is running neck and neck with the former, and have yet to decide which one I prefer. Both are excellent and I would recommend both.
