I am so glad this was from Ash's point of view. After 3 books from Mehgan I couldn't see how she could carry another story. She drove me a little crazy with her whinny teen girl ways. This book was so action packed and nail biting. Every time they would pass through a part of there journey I thought how is the author going to keep escalating this book so that the ending would pack a punch and she did it! Yes, as other's have said I was disappointed there was not enough Mehgan, but on the other hand this was Ash's quest and if she came along it would have ruined it. It made the ending all the more powerful that she wasn't around. This book did have one downer for me, the sexual content in this book far surpassed the other books. 17 and up.

“You're here," I murmured, reaching out to touch him, hardly believing this was real. "You came back." Ash's breath hitched, and he put his hand over mine.
"I came home.”
