really liked it
bookshelves: non-fiction
Read in August, 2006

Obama describes his experience as growing up as a half black, half white boy in Hawaii, his first real job in Chicago, and ultimately his return to the land of his father- Kenya. I found the most powerful part of the book to be in Obama's return to Kenya, and hearing the stories from his grandmother. It's a very interesting read.
