This guy has serious problems. Purell on swing sets. Helmets for babies. OCD. When I read that this was funny, I decided to read it. Not funny at all. Weird, though. I'm slogging through it, hoping for a payoff at the end, but not confident I'll find one.

Update. Finished it. Didn't find it. Found that it reads like a blog or diary, not real serious or funny; just rambling on through. I was really peeved that the notes at the end were not in a table of contents or used as footnotes. I felt as if he dumbed down the whole book for a more general audience. (Really, "the pastor out to pasture" four times?) I'm totally with Danna when she says that it seems he's saying, "I have OCD and this is my latest obsession." This is why he shouldn't be expecting those $15,000 speaking fees.
