The major theme in this book is the idea of fighting to find the truth even if you are up against surmountable odds. Everyone is out for Charlie; the "good guys" and the "bad guys" want him locked up or killed. Luckily Charlie is strong and fights for the life he knows he justly deserves.

Would you fight for your life or just give in when it seems theres no way out but death. This book is a thriller from beginning to end with a turn you wouldnt expect. The first homelanders book has a storyline much like that of The Bourne Series, Charlie must find out who he really is and fight to stay alive.
