The Last Thing I Remember by Andrew Klavan is an exciting read for anyone thristy for thrill and adventure. One month has passed since Charlie West's, the main character in the book, last memory. When he wakes up he is strapped to a chair, hearing his sentence to death. When he is able to escape from his kidnappers many more problems arise. Not only are the homelanders after him but the police are too. What should Charlie do? Where should he go? Who can he believe? Through the story Charlie must ask him self many questions; but he can never give up; never, never, never.

The major theme in this book is the idea of fighting to find the truth even if you are up against surmountable odds. Everyone is out for Charlie; the "good guys" and the "bad guys" want him locked up or killed. Luckily Charlie is strong and fights for the life he knows he justly deserves.

Would you fight for your life or just give in when it seems theres no way out but death. This book is a thriller from beginning to end with a turn you wouldnt expect. The first homelanders book has a storyline much like that of The Bourne Series, Charlie must find out who he really is and fight to stay alive. If you love books that are filled with action and thrill you must read The Last Thing I Remember!
