Nothing is worse than a woman’s scorn and Honeymoon by James Patterson is testimony to that saying. Nora Sinclair is beautiful, desirable and, in short, every man’s dream. It is odd that a dream can turn so easily into a nightmare. Nora doesn’t just give but also takes from her relationships. Her first husband was a rich cardiologist. He gave her the information how to commit the perfect murder and she took his money after she had put her new knowledge to practice. Everyone should have a life calling and Nora used her talents as interior decorator to meet her prey.
This could be one of James Patterson’s best books. The short chapters and fast pace keep the readers eyes glued to the pages and always hungry for more. This is a must read for all suspense lovers. That’s why I readily give it a high four star rating.
Although Honeymoon is a great read and fits well in the James Patterson tradition, I found the plot and believability somewhat lacking. John O'Hare (alias Craig Reynolds) went on a fishing expedition with only a suspicion. As he looked for the truth he became sidetracked by Nora Sinclair's charm and beauty. The story is fast paced and at times steamy but lacks it depth. I enjoyed the book but it left me with no further food for thought.

Joei Carlton All of James Patterson's books are middle-of-the-night reading. Don't question too much just read to enjoy and don't think about it. www.joeicarlton.com
