Annie's review of Ernest Hemingway's The Old Man and the Sea
Ernest Hemingway's The Old Man and the Sea (The Atlantic Crticial Studies) by P.G. Rama Rao
The first time I tried to read this book must have been somewhere between third and fifth grade. Needless to say, I didn't get it, and it was almost ruined for me until another go during high school.
It's a beautifully written book. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Not sure I agree with all the things my English teacher said it signified, but it left room in my mind for much contemplation.
