I cannot believe that I read several Garfield comics as an adolescent, but my precious cat, Gizmo, resembled Garfield in many ways and I could never resist the comics!

124482 Courtney: Garfield was the bomb circa fourth grade for me. Not quite sure of the obsession. Of course I had a stuffed Garfield and Odie that I played with until they were frayed. :)

411786 Totally! My sister was the Odie fan and I was the Garfield girl and we were obsessed. I still have my big Garfield stuffed animal in a box somewhere, lol.

678071 My brother had the complete collection of these books and my sister's bedroom walls were covered with Garfield posters when I was growing up. I think I was more of an Odie fan myself though.
