Read in January, 2001

I was mortified when the bookstore employee told me to check out the "romance" section for this book. She promised it wouldn't disappoint. It didn't. I read the entire series.

Krissy Mayse Kate- back in the mid 1990's when I started this series - I remember getting embarrassed when the sales clerk pointed me in tthe section of what I privately refer to as "bodice rippers" --but it was worth it! Its got to be my favorite series ever.

Amy I love the series too. I think maybe it gets more notice being in romance. Maybe not as many would pick it up from the Historical or Military fiction shelves. Going back to live with my favorite characters ever and experience life in the 1700-1800's ended up being my favorite part.
