Read from May 08 to 13, 2011

When You Reach Me is smart and thought-provoking, and treats it's young and old readers alike with great respect and integrity. It's a time-traveling puzzle. It's mysterious and fun, and shows a real New York neighborhood with all of the everyday grittiness and friendliness. The adult characters are as interesting as the young characters, all well-rounded and well-built without cliche.

I would love to read this book if I was a kiddo in NYC.

Angie Be sure to let us know about this one. I know @mrbalcom liked it and recommended it to my girls.

Kayla Cagan Hi Anji! I'm halfway through, and really liking it as of now. It's mysterious, but not scary. Will give you my final "review" in a couple of days.
