Most closely related to Great Expectations, of course, but there are threads woven in from other Dickens novels, too--Oliver Twist, Our Mutual Friend, Little Dorrit. So lots of literary game playing if you like literary game playing. One of its central concerns is the complex interrelationship between reality and fiction, how we make fictions of our lives and the lives of others, how telling the stories of even our own lives is a kind of fiction-making.
