Gorgeous, gorgeous book, and I started it avidly enough, but the book started to drag for me at exactly the moment when it should have been picking up speed. The time-travel aspect should have been the most thrilling part. Why wasn't it?

I'd recommended this for young-adult readers looking for a bit of ghost story, which is fair as that's this book's focus demographic, but this is hardly a key example of Quirk's cross-demographic books. Three stars only for me.

A finished copy of this book was provided to me by the publisher, given through the LibraryThing Early Reviewers Program.
