Clever but slightly repetitive, there is more gristle than meat on this corpse. Grahame-Smith explores the horror movie tropes we all know and love with a gallon of caustic wit and a heaping handful of monstrous puns. While i found the book fun (especially Nathan Fox's blood-tinged illustrations), I'm just not the horror aficionado this book is written for. The target audience, however, will find it dead-on.
