bookshelves: scarpetta-series
Read from October 12 to 15, 2011

Cornwell has transformed her most faithful Scarpetta from a strong-minded, independent and competent medical examiner into a weak, whiny, second-guessing woman with insecurtities.

I used to love this series and couldn't wait for it to be made into a film, but the thought of it now makes me wonder if it's even worth the trouble. The transformation of the strong-willed characters into insecure brats has become almost unreadable.
