Just finished this morning. Classic Pratchett. The synopsis pegs Mort as a kind of love story, thank the great A'Tuin it really isn't. It is about saving a princess (from reality, not a big scary dragon) though. Great setups abound: fly fishing with Death, Death getting schnackered, A farm boy realizing he's Death...
fun times
This one pokes less fun at Fantasy fodder than any other Pratchett I've read. Its lack of trolls, dwarves, vampires and dragons makes it a great choice to warm up to the master humorist's style.
