Simply love this series. Although the end I usually don't like that much. Then too much is happening and I have difficulty following the story. Anyway, this book still gets 4/5. Some people hate this series because there is no speed in the story. I know there isn't, but just like Charles Dickens, Jordan is able to keep you into the book. Jordan really creates a new world in which I keep discovering new things and I love it.
One thing I am wondering though: Rand has a wound in his side which never really heals. Frodo, the main character in Tolkien's Lord of the Rings, also has a never-to-be-healed wound in his side. Is this some copying from Tolkien or is it just coincidence?
