Can not wait to read it. Love the names Tess, Pippa Peaches.... Sounds like Tess is not interested in her own time frame as much as she is impressed by medieval time. Hmm breaking a mirror off the car to help the local economy interesting. I do not know what I would do if I saw a man that looked like my sisters husband when the sister and her husband had traveled back in time. Hmm he seems unsure of what to do with Tess too. Ahh death by an engine not my idea of a good way to go. John needs to be careful. A old nosy land lady is cute. Did John time travel too? Flat tire, no spare and instead a box of side mirrors. ?Then John shows up and helps Tess and off to London they go wow convenient I think. If John is confused and frustrated with Tess then why give her a card with his number and address of the studio he will be at? Well so Tess gets to listen to a lute that is not an instrument of the current time and finds out John is good at it. I think there is a lot more to this man then we know yet. Why do they keep taking rides together if it is so excruciating? Yummy my kind of man up before dawn to do some sword play. A genital man to a fault all ways helping a lady in trouble. It seems there is an unwanted attraction between Tess and John. He pays well on that lute it seems. Tess comes from a lot of siblings and Cambridge is a high goal. Teaching about medieval times or hosting reenactments at your own medieval castle is a hard choice both sound fun. Fate must really want Tess and John together especially considering Tess is thinking of how to avoid him when she runs smack into John. "I thought you might be hungry" is a bad pick up line. If he does not want to go on a date why ask her to go to lunch? Wait John a man admits he talks to much wow. Oh no does John and Stephen have the same last name? Well by that introduction Tess did I would say yes they are related. Well it does seem these de Piaget men are genital but can herd woman how they want to.John shepherding Tess into the car Stephen into his office. A sister in the 13th century married to the supposed brother of John in the 20th century and it looks like Tess may be falling for John. At least Stephen thinks that Tess and John could be potential lovers. So this John is supposedly dead in 1233 but alive today time interesting. To have Rolls such great cars. It appears Tess knows a lot more about the 13th century then the one she lives in. It is nice to know her sister Pippa is happy with "far out groovy" kids. I think I may sound rude to and want to tell that person you are not alone if I knew what Tess knows about John. John really wants that "non date". What woman in their right mind would not get mad at being asked out on a few no dates and being told that they should not see each other. John needs to stop contradicting him self. Well about time the agree to go on a date and flirt kind of. So John has educated himself about history but purposely stayed away from medieval times. Are we going to find out soon if John is a time traveler as hinted at? So is John in love with Tess or not. Also life has a way of making you confront things you thought you left behind. So Stephen is over protective of Tess. I think Stephen knows more about John the we know quite yet. This book is really good. Even though I am having heath issues this book has been giving me a mental get away. "Resolved never to tangle him self...... future girl." What does future girl mean? Yes we finally have proof. John admits he had been a knight of the realm. I would go nuts if I was ever given a private tour of a keep. It has to be hard to talk to someone you are on a date with about events that should be long ago history when your a time traveler and was there. It appears that John is a man of his words.Peaches is funny when she said she wanted a guru that ate raw food.Care packages into a time gate to the past. Wow that got to be a trip. Why do some men not take no for an answer? Also why is it John seems to be rescuing Tess all the time? So John plays lute and dances. Al this is making Tess very flustered. John is really acting like a modern night in shining armor and he cooks too. I think Tess or John needs to tell the other what they know about the past. Hired help can be such a pain. That dog needs help. Tess is related to one of the lords of Sedgwick how? Wounder if John is going to admit to Tess he is not of this time? Watch out Tess it looks like you and John may be starting something. Why do many get nervous if a woman they like examines them? We all get the feeling we are watched at times. So Tess lost her purse and John thinks they are being watched not a good sign. John's knighting sword has been stolen the same day Tess lost her purse. I agree with John this is not a coincidence. And that is why I never have or will hire a caterer. They can not be relied upon. Why is John so worried what day Tess goes to another castle for a reenactment? I never fully finish the book but I enjoyed what I did read
