I was iffy about ready this book at first because Im not really into darm magic/fantasy and all of that stuff. Im a huge fan of twilight and this series was recommended to be by a trusted friend. The begining of the book is confusing... I felt like I was about to read some time of crazy angel-magic fantasy set in the dark ages. Byt my friend warned me of this, and I kept reading. I REALLY got into this book and read it in one sitting (a night). Its suprizing a fun read that has a lot of action. It has sort of the twilight setting in high school, and I liked the fact that in this book (like twilight) the world of "mythological" creatures is not known to the world. Im not a big fan of most "fantasy books" but I really enjoyed this one! I cant wait to read the next book in the series. I liek how they end the book well enough that I feel like I DONT have to rush out and buy the next to see what happens. I want to buy the next book because I actulyl enjoyed the first. Very fun and captivating read!
