really liked it
Read in December, 2006

I loved Chabon's first novel (written as an MFA thesis, of course) but he stepped it up with this one. A lovely epic of New York City, comic books and Jewish heroes. Also, Chabon has managed to write a McShep AU before that fandom pairing existed. So, in conclusion, Michael Chabon, how are you so awesome?

Kelly Ahhh! I want this book. And every damn Borders/Barnes and Noble/building with paper and binding in it appears to not have it.

Apparently I am not the only one with this idea.

... I did buy that book White Noise, though! Hope to get to it later in the summer.

There are a billion copies of this online, and many more at used bookstore.
